This position is located in the Program Management Office (PMO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and High Performance Computing and Communications (HPCC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Department of Commerce. The PMO provides expert technical information technology management services NOAA-wide. This position serves as a project manager to develop and manage NOAA-wide IT projects and serves as a project manager for NOAALink, NOAA's Strategic IT Sourcing vehicle with a ceiling of $2.5 billion over ten years. The objective of NOAALink is to achieve economies-of-scale, consistent standards, and comprehensive IT services to develop a secure, reliable, technically robust operating environment that supports NOAA's mission. It is desired that the applicant be PMI certified and meet acquisition requirements.
