I have been checking out some previous discussions about Google+, and still have not found a solid way/reason for an office or business to utilize a Google+ account. For example, if there were to be a Google+ account for GovLoop, what content would you envision on it? And what would it’s function be?

My impression of GovLoop would that it would be a one-stop for residents to view available documents online. It would be something that pretty much everyone would have access to and there wouldn’t be the need to download a separate viewer or install a new program to see what the government is doing. It would also make it easy for other cities to see what their neighboring cities are doing. It is easy to transfer Word Docs into Google Docs.

The function would be mainly for viewing the annual budget, minutes, agendas or newsletters.

There is always the potential for problems. Using Google could make it easier for hacks to come in and cause problems.
