I'm interested in learning more about Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) implementations throughout government agencies, particularly if you are willing to share your experiences.
We are using the environment here at Maricopa County and have learned many lessons during our implementation. However, we know there are many more capabilities that could be implemented and many things to learn from other agencies who are also using TFS. As most with government agencies, we do not have the budget to work with a consultant to get their input/lessons learned so was hoping to find another agency or agencies willing to collaborate/share their experiences.
Please send me a message or reply to this post with your contact information if you are willing to share some of your lessons learned, including:
- how you have implemented it,
- what features you are using or not using and why,
- how you are leveraging version-control/branching,
- anything else...
Many thanks in advance!
