I’ve been assigned to a project that involves factoring in recruitment and retention needs. Other sectors of the organization seem to have a model, or at least have identified a constellation of things to factor in, that is perhaps a little too complex for the task at hand. If yoiu know me, you’ll know I have my own ideas (and no shortage thereof!), but I was wondering if any of you folks had a system/algorithm/method/framework that you use for being able to point to a given job group and say that the R & R needs are urgent, moderate, modest, or negligible. The optimal would be some sort of circles and arrows model that different quantitative indicators could be attached to.
It doesn’t have to be YOUR model, either. Pointers to something in the literature are good too.
