HP Supports Entrepreneurs Through President Obama’s Startup America Partnership

Monday was an exciting day for entrepreneurs, the White House and HP. Taking another bold step in helping entrepreneurs be successful and grow their businesses, HP joined the White House’s Startup America Partnership, an independent private sector alliance initiated by President Obama to pull together top entrepreneurs, startup firm funders, CEOs, university presidents, foundations and other leaders to help entrepreneurial companies get off the ground.

Prior to the White House’s focus on entrepreneurs and the amazing good they can do for the U.S. economy, HP was working hard to provide start-ups with tools and resources to be successful. Two HP programs have been tapped to support the Startup America Partnership program – HP Startup Central and the HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE). The HP Startup Central web portal, which was launched late last year, helps technology start-ups get their product or service to market quickly by providing single-point access to HP tools, programs and resources. The global program HP LIFE, available in 45 countries across the globe, helps aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners develop essential IT and business skills needed to launch and successfully run their small business.

It’s through these initiatives that HP has provided the much needed support for entrepreneurship through educational, technological outreach to start-ups and small business owners across the U.S.

As the company that started in the iconic garage in Palo Alto, CA, HP has not lost its entrepreneurial spirit and the company continues to see a huge opportunity for our technology, expertise and relationships to support entrepreneurs. So whether your goal is to become a small enterprise, move toward successful acquisition or emerge as an industry giant, HP is with you all the way.
