Though “Innovation” actually is in my job title, I do not think that I have the corner on what exactly “counts” as innovation, and I am as excited as anyone when new materials are released about the hows and wherefores of innovation in government.

So I am very happy to share that my organization has released a new report that looks back at three decades of innovation-in-government awards and culls quite a few lessons in how to innovate–both for innovators themselves as well as for their leadership.

Please check out “The Persistence of Innovation in Government: A Guide for Innovative Public Servants” and share your thoughts on how to innovate successfully in government!
