    Position Info: Full-Time

    Locations: Location negotiable after selection

    Position overview:

    As an economist your duties may include:

    • Performing economic studies to evaluate policies affecting tax administration and taxpayer compliance, define alternatives, and provide recommendations.
    • Provide senior management with analyses of problems for decisions such as changes in the future economic and demographic environment or technology, or changes in managerial priorities.
    • Prepare briefing materials explaining recommendations which may be presented to and used by IRS management in discussions with Treasury, OMB, GAO and Congress.
