This position is located in the Utah State Office. The incumbent serves as the State Budget Officer and is responsible for providing staff guidance on all aspects of statewide programming, budgeting, financial matters, and management analysis. The incumbent is the principle budget advisor to the State Director and to the Utah Leadership Team (ULT). Responsible for the proper execution of the Annual Work Plan (AWP) and ensures that annual expenditures reconcile to the cost target allocations, and budget expenditures do not exceed authorized spending limits in accordance with the Anti-Deficiency Act. As Team Lead for Budget, the incumbent provides leadership and direction a staff of Budget Analysts.
