    Campaign Directors – Change.org

    Deadline: January 31, 2011

Description: We’re building a small team of Campaign Directors to help our 1 million+ members worldwide win important and measurable campaigns for social change.

We’re looking for brilliant organizers with fiercely good writing skills and a history in progressive online organizing to join our rapidly growing organization. For the right folks, the salary and benefits are extremely competitive.

    Campaign Directors will:

    • Collaborate with Change.org’s expanding team of bloggers, editors, and organizers to identify opportunities for creating grassroots campaigns with a strong theory of change on a daily basis. ·
    • Design and execute online campaigns on a number of local, national, and international issues, including immigrant rights, the environment, gay rights, human trafficking, and human rights. Many campaigns will have been started by our members, others by nonprofit groups, and others by you. ·
    • Help to manage Change.org’s entire highly-targeted email program, including drafting emails to send to our members and continually seeking new organizing innovations.

The job is sometimes 10 to 6, sometimes much longer — and will almost always be in an exceptionally fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your co-workers are high-impact, low-ego, and have a deep respect for our members. We expect you to be the same.
We prefer applicants living in or prepared to move to DC, but are flexible on location if the right person requires it.

Skills & Qualifications – Exceptionally strong writing skills – 3+ years experience in online organizing

How to Apply: To apply, send us a brief introductory email and your resume to [email protected].
