    Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, or related field and a minimum of 3 years municipal government experience as a city administrator, assistant city administrator, or similar executive level position. The position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all city departments, including economic development, grants writing, master planning, public works, utilities, parks and recreation and personnel. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, values and skills in grant obtainment, governing body and citizen communication techniques. Experience in strategic planning, tax increment financing, equal enforcement of the municipal code and subdivision regulations, and implementation of an optional sales tax program is strongly desired.
