    Job Description
    Current City Manager left for new position. Mayor (2-yr term), Council President and 5-member council (2-year terms). Full-service community with excellent staff and stable workforce. $21.7 million General Fund. The City of Lincoln Park was founded on the principles of family values and hard work. The City has established a strategic plan that will sustain continued strong economic foundations. The next City Manager must be able to lead and motivate a diverse group to accomplish the council’s goals and objectives and be able to work with neighboring cities. Bachelor’s Degree required (MPA or equivalent desired) with 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in local government (must be familiar with DDA, TIF, EDC and BRA). The candidate must have outstanding communication skills, success in executive team building and management, experience with intergovernmental collaboration or service sharing, and be innovative with demonstrated skills in public and business relations.
