    The City of Perry, Oklahoma, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of City Manager. Perry has a City Manager Form of Government and operates under a City Charter. The City Council is made up of eight members, two representing each of the four wards, and the Mayor, with all offices elected at large. Applicants must demonstrate their familiarity with collective bargaining, financial matters, municipal utilities (including electric), grants and human resources. A Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate field and at least three year’s experience as a city manager, city administrator, or assistant in a comparable or larger sized city is required. A Master’s Degree in public administration, business management or related field is desirable. Additional experience in managing a City may be substituted for some or all of the educational requirements. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with education and/or experience.
