We have a great opportunity for a Co-Manager of Family Partnerships.
The Co-Manager of Family Partnerships is responsible for overseeing the integration of program services to families in the Early Head Start Program; providing reflective supervision to 7 Family Support Advocates; and monitoring family participation levels.
Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Development, or related social science area. A minimum of two years of successful experience coordinating comprehensive family support services and teaching child development or parenting skills to adults in a program that emphasizes the parent’s role in the child’s development. Experience working with low-income families and with persons from various backgrounds and cultures. Experience providing training, guidance, and support to adults in a program using a strengths-based family services approach. Knowledge and skills in completing in-depth family assessments, and demonstrates skills in writing goals and behavioral objectives for Family Action Plans (FPA’s). Ability to establish and maintain productive communication and working relationships with families, employees and other professionals. Valid driver’s license and access to a currently licensed and operational personal car on a daily basis.
