The Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the implementation of the City’s parks and recreation programs and for the maintenance and capital improvement projects of the facilities and properties under the jurisdiction of his/her Department. The incumbent must exercise independent judgment for the implementation of policy and procedure. Supervision is exercised over a large number of subordinate employees.
Qualified candidates will possess the following education and experience:
Candidates should have between 10 and 15 years experience in the area of Parks Maintenance, recreation and/or conservation at a high administrative level.
