    This position is located in the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, Business Operations, Systems Operations and Aid Delivery Management Services Group, Systems Integration Division.

    The Business Operations office is responsible for best in business service to aid recipients and schools -notifying aid recipients of repayment options, controlling delinquent/defaulted accounts, assessing portfolio risk, recommending proactive strategies and consolidating aid recipient loans.

    The Systems Integration Division is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and planning enterprise solutions for integrating Business Operations’ processes and systems.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    * Relocation Expenses will not be paid

    * Must complete a Background Investigation and fingerprint check
    * Must complete a One-year Probationary Period
    * Must be a U.S. citizen

    DUTIES:

    Assesses quality of data exchanges for Enterprise Systems Management group applications to include National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), Financial Partner Data Mart (FPDM) and other FSA applications. Determines requirements for establishing a data quality management capability to include assessments, reporting, issue resolution, and continuous monitoring. Analyzes Title IV data to determine sufficiency in meeting process and program objectives. Develops tools to assist subject matter expert (SME)s in monitoring overall quality of data and business processes for their program areas of responsibility. Trains SMEs and other FSA resources in using tools for data management. Responsible for managing assigned areas of Operations and Maintenance contracts for Enterprise System Management Group applications and their contractors. As the subject matter expert, the incumbent will develop and maintain training programs for Enterprise System Management Group application users. Provides advanced inquiry, query, and data extraction support for Enterprise Systems Management Group, its customers, and high profile customer needs to include FSA, ED, Congressional and other agencies.
