    About the Position: Insures skill level training is developed, conducted, and evaluated on an ongoing basis. Approves employee development and training programs, work schedules, etc. Conducts skill level training.

    Insures appropriate policies and procedures are accomplished to provide for adequate internal controls, inventory management, cash management, and accountability for property and funds. Participates as member of the Executive Committee.

    Performs a full range of supervisor duties including developing, evaluating, and obtaining approval for staffing levels. Allocates NF positions to pay levels in accordance with NAF pay banding policies. Initiates recruitment or reassignment actions; approves selections. Approves performance appraisals conducted by subordinate managers. Insures active support of diversity and equal opportunity programs. Initiates or serves as deciding official on disciplinary actions; recommends awards and pay adjustments. Has final approval authority on all action required to lead the directorate employees except those items specifically reserved to the General Manager.
    Applies HQDA Occupational Safety & Health objectives and initiatives and implements safety plan that outlines the policies and procedures regarding employee safety and health in the workplace. Ensures completion of the mandatory occupational safety and health training annually.


    Provides executive leadership and supervision to the entire Food and Beverage department within the Resort. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to conduct service-oriented and cost-effective operations. Conducts reviews of guest comments, surveys, and operations to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action. Evaluates the success of Food and Beverage programs based on financial results, customer satisfaction, and market desires. Reviews financial reports, Food and Beverage costs, develops and maintains annual operating budgets. Tracks revenues, labor, and other expenses; presents analysis to General Manager (GM) and Executive Committee (ExCom). Assists subordinate managers in the development and implementation of operating policies, programs and procedures within the Food and Beverage department. Evaluates operating reports to identify and correct problems. Conducts regular department inspections, reviews and resolves guests’ complaints.
