    The Accessibility and Disability Rights Coordinator reports to the Executive Director in the Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities Division. Provides timely and reliable technical assistance about accessibility and disability rights laws. Gathers, analyzes and concisely summarizes and reports information regarding accessibility and disability rights and related laws. Develops and produces informational handouts, brochures and other written content. Actively tracks and reports on legislation and industry trends. Writes, delivers and/or prepares well-researched speeches on complex disabilities laws, issues, programs and trends. Effectively interacts with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) coordinators, businesses, governmental entities and the general public as required to accomplish the goals and objectives of this position. Works closely with other Governor’s Committee on People with Disabilities programs. Demonstrates computer proficiency relative to all assigned responsibilities. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
