This position is located in Region 4, Air, Pesticides & Toxics Management Division, Pesticides & Toxics Substances Branch, Chemical Products and Asbestos Section in Atlanta, GA.

-Provide technical assistance to pesticide producers and state agencies on establishment registration and pesticide production reporting requirements.
-Review all applications for accuracy and determines which applications must be returned for additional or corrected data. Responsible for approval of application and determines which must be transmitted to Headquarters for number assignment before processing at Regional Level.
-Make annual and initial solicitation of approximately 2,200 registered establishments for reporting pesticide production. Review report for adequacy and enters data in Section Seven Tracking System (SSTS) database.
-Review SSTS and Pesticide Product Information System (PPIS) databases of inspected firms and gather evidence of pesticide violations. Work with senior staff to make a detailed examination of the evidence by using several sources of verification.
