    Finance Director

    The City of Aurora, just east of Denver, offers its 325,000 residents something for every lifestyle, from convenient urban living to master-planned communities. With approximately 2,500 employees and a total budget of $555 million, the Finance Director is a highly valued, high profile, critical position. The Director manages a Department, with 60 employees and is responsible for finance administration, the controller’s office, payroll, treasury, accounting, tax audit, debt and revenue functions as well as the city’s budget and financial planning office. Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred with at least seven years progressively responsible financial experience, preferably with a municipal government. Salary up to $159,622 DOQ with competitive benefits.
