The City of Siloam Springs is accepting applications for a Finance Director. Under the direction of the City Administrator, this position is responsible for managing and directing the financial affairs of the City including the functions of Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Utility Billing and Collection, and Treasury Management. This position is further responsible for the preparation and administration of the municipal budget and annual audit process.
This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management. Certification as a CPA or CGFO are preferred but not required. The successful candidate’s background should include five years or more of financial management experience in a municipal entity with significant supervisory or management experience. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and submit to a background check.
