    This position is located in the Acquisitions Management, Contracts, and Grants (AMCG), Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Office of the Secretary (OS), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in Washington, DC.

    Incumbent serves as the lead authority for the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR), Office of Preparedness and Emergency Operations (OPEO), Grant Solutions systems and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) online application system. Provides guidance and advice to staff to enhance and develop overall staff knowledge in processing applications and awards. Responsible for the receipt and processing of electronic and hard copy grant applications to ASPR and works closely with project officers and staff in coordinating these efforts. Establishes and maintains liaison with other Federal agencies disseminating information to all grants management stakeholders. Uses a variety of fact-finding and analytical techniques in order to provide advice, assistance and support to ensure activities are consistent with HHS procedures and to increase the effectiveness of overall administrative management operations.
