    Posted for a friend – check out GS-13 “status candidate” job
    available in the Office of the Director of US Foreign Assistance. Note that
    the hiring agency is USAID, but the position is physically located at the
    main State Department building in Foggy Bottom. Anyone with an interest in
    GPRA-related reporting requirements and other budget and performance type
    work should apply. The announcement closes this Thursday, January 6th.

    *DUTIES:*

    Analyzes and evaluates, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the
    effectiveness of programs or operations in meeting established goals,
    measures, and objectives. Designs and/or maintains methods, approaches, and
    processes to implement the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA),
    and provides a means for the agency to analyze its resources in relation to
    its performance results.

    Performs liaison duties in support of an organizational program planning
    process. Participates in developing and implementing long- and short-range
    plans, procedures, and policies relating to the organization’s
    administrative needs.

    *QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:*

    Skill in analyzing current or projected operating programs.

    Knowledge of the principles and techniques of program evaluation and
    oversight.

    Ability to communicate in writing.

    Ability to communicate effectively orally in a professional environment.

    Ability to plan and execute work.
