    The Office of Health Insurance Exchanges at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight at CMS (within HHS) is hiring several new staff at various levels to support Exchange operations. These are permanent Federal positions located either in Bethesda, MD or Baltimore, MD. We are moving quickly, and will have a posting open on USA Jobs from September 19th to the 23rd.

    We are primarily interested in hearing from candidates who have experience working in program operations. We are interested in candidates with experience in any of the areas below. This list is not exhaustive, and candidates do not need to have experience in all areas. We are hiring for multiple positions. Areas of experience could include:

    -Knowledge and experience working with private and public health insurance programs
    -Business process development
    -Development of business requirements for IT systems
    -Managing major systems and data transactions
    -Private health insurance plan procurement or managed care
    -Contracting
    -Communications and account management
    -Developing and executing strategies for national and/or state-based outreach and education
    -Administering eligibility and enrollment functions
    -Conducting data analysis and research
    -Coordinating with private companies, State and Federal government, and non-profit organizations
    -Grants management

    We are also interested in hearing from candidates with knowledge of or experience in the private health insurance market, as well as in public programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP.
