    Come join our busy, progressive HR team at VA North Texas! We are seeking a motivated individual to serve as the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist for multiple automated HR management systems such as, e-­OPF, Web HR, DFAS interface, etc.; granting and deleting access to systems; monitoring operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues and/or problems; and, providing instruction and training to HR staff and other Health Care System employees. Will use data systems to produce reports such as ProClarity, Fileman, RSD reports, WebHR (list not all-inclusive). Works collaboratively with managers, supervisors and on-site staff in identifying and ensuring corrective action is taken to solve discrepancies in reports or other output documents. Performs work related to the ongoing support of the human resource information systems and function as part of the management team. Incumbent will prepare and coordinate operating instructions; analyze and interpret system requirements and changes as they impact processes and procedures or are impacted by HR administration policy and procedural changes. Prepares and coordinates HR reports for the organization; and is responsible for completing all reports for the Human Resource Office, and will periodically assist other staff with various projects, assignments and other duties as needed. Physical requirements: 6-8 hours/day of sitting, using a computer system effectively for 6-8 hours/day, frequent phone contact, ability to work desk-side with facility individuals for training purposes and ability to communicate concisely with a wide variety of staff.

    WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
