    This position is located in NIST’s Office of Workforce Management, Operations and Strategic Programs Division. The person selected to fill this vacancy will provide human resource advisory services for organizational segments of the NIST.

    As a member of an Operations and Strategic Programs Division (OSPD), the incumbent will provide human resource advisory services for organizational segments of the NIST. The incumbent will provide NIST management advice and assistance to attract and maintain a world- class workforce utilizing unique authorities delegated under NIST’s APMS. The incumbent will advise on the pay flexibilities in recruitment that were established by the APMS. The incumbent provides, as necessary, support to the various program areas within OSPD and training to client organizations in order to support a more efficient HR operation. The incumbent will also advise on and apply authorities, laws, and regulations applicable to all other Federal agencies in achieving NIST’s goal. Additionally, advice in matters such as position classification, pay administration, awards and leave will be provided to NIST managers, employees, and prospective applicants.
