    Responsibilities

    • Provides leadership of adult and children’s mental health programs within the Twin Falls area
    • Directs program supervisors and a large staff of professionals responsible for diverse program components
    • Represents the Division of Behavioral Health in the designated area of the state for assigned programs with community partners, providers, officials, advocacy groups and the public
    • Provides clear focus and direction for staff and leadership to ensure a sustainable and integrated services system for family and children’s services
    • Identifies, develops, implements and evaluates program operations, partnerships and cooperative relationships
    • Assesses program needs and establishes program models, practices, program plans and objectives to support Department strategic goals and objectives
    • Ensures program integrity, compliance with requirements, and that program funding is not in jeopardy
    • Evaluates program efforts and maximizes use of program resources to support program quality and innovation
    • Direct staff in program operations, treatment and service philosophies, modalities and methods.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Demonstrated competency in management and leadership.
    • Extensive background in mental health.
    • Good knowledge of behavioral health treatment approaches and stages of development.
    • Experience assessing, planning, and implementing a mental health or child and family social/health program.
