Additional Duty Location Info:1 vacancy – Washington DC Metro Area, DCThe successful candidate will perform the full range of tasks and activities involved in administering and deploying database applications for the Supreme Court’s internal users. The successful candidate will administer the Court’s MS SQL Servers, work with the software developers in designing and developing SQL based applications and work with the server administrators in maintaining and upgrading the database servers.
Qualifications and Evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:Candidates must have a college degree (Computer Science or related preferred). Candidates must possess good communications skills and an aptitude for gathering software requirements and providing technical assistance to computer users.
Employment is subject to the successful completion of a security background check.

Each member of the development staff is provided with his/her own subscription to MSDN; access to Microsoft’s highest level of technical support (Premier Support for Developers); an in-house library of up-to-date commercially available technical books and software; a technical lab for development and testing of software applications; and a fully equipped computer training room. In addition, the Court provides all employees free access to an exercise facility/weight training room.
