    JOB SUMMARY:

    Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

    About the Position:

    This position is located in Eskan Village, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Eskan Village is a joint military SAO community, housing military and DoD civilian personnel. The installation (secure compound) is a unique setting that supports military, civilians, local hires and a limited expatriate community. Deals with high ranking Military and Civilians on a daily occurrence and tact and decorum are of utmost importance. The weather can be hot and dry with extreme heat in the summer months and mild winters. Dust storms may occur at any time.     KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Host Nation Driver’s License.

    DUTIES:

    Serves as a senior language specialist working with a variety of linguistic support programs. Translate and Interpret (orally and in writing) a variety of documents or conversations from English to Arabic and vice-versa. Provides expert translating and interpreting services to high ranking officials within and outside the organization.
