    Job Description

    The Building & Planning Department, Garfield County, Colorado is seeking an Oil & Gas Liaison. The Oil & Gas Liaison serves as a liaison between: Garfield County, The Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC), natural resources agencies of the Federal and state governments, Garfield County citizens and the oil and gas industry; serve as advisor to affected citizens and the Garfield County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) on matters relating to the oil and gas industry and monitors the oil and gas industry and related agencies in Garfield County.

    Job Requirements

    Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience with land use, environmental impact issues and/or the oil and gas industry, and exhibits excellent customer service skills.
