    Position Description:
    SOLUTE Consulting has an opportunity for an extremely motivated individual to provide training and mentorship to Naval Strike Groups. This individual will provide expert consultation to US Government clients as a part of the Net-Centric Warfare (NCW) Syndicate at Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP), to include classroom instruction, and Strike Group Staff and Warfare Commander training and mentorship. The ideal candidate would have experience as a: (1) Navy Line Officer; Information Professional Officer, Chief, Senior Chief or Master Chief with experience on a Carrier or Expeditionary Strike Group or DESRON Staff, or (2) Marine Communications Officer/Chief on a MEU/MEB/DIV Staff or Communications Battalion; or an Officer/Senior Enlisted with MEU/MEB/DIV Staff experience and (3) Experience in Knowledge Management, specifically as a Knowledge Management Officer (KMO) afloat or ashore is highly desired.

    Position Scope:

    Provide training in Net-Centric Warfare (NCW)
    Provide training in Information Management and Knowledge Management (IM/KM)
    Lead process improvement projects for the client
    Provide technical support for websites
    Provide expertise in Shipboard Information Management and Knowledge Management
    Strike Group Communications Operations

    Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance required
    BS or BA degree in IT, KM or related fields preferred
    Previous experience working with Navy afloat units preferred
    Strong organizational and time management skills required
    Experience leading projects and facilitating meetings
    Understanding of Knowledge Management principles highly desirable
    Knowledge Management Certifications/Afflilations a plus, to include Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) or Certified Knowledge Environment Engineeer (CKEE)
    Knowledge of Shipboard C4I systems ideal
    Support client with internal process improvements and other tasks as assigned
    Work location is in San Diego, CA
    Some CONUS and international travel is required, less than 10 percent
