    JOB SUMMARY:

    This position is located National Marine Fisheries Services, Office of Habitat Conservation, Restoration Division located in Santa Rosa, California.

    by career path, series, and pay band. This ZA-2 is equivalent to a

    DUTIES:

    The incumbent serves as a Program Analyst for the Southwest Region of the NOAA Restoration Center (RC), part of the National Marine Fisheries Service, and reports to the Southwest Regional Supervisor of the RC. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing budgets and accounting reports, tracking spending, analyzing staffing needs, preparing personnel recruitment, promotion and performance documents, Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Memorandums of Agreement (MOA), cooperative agreements, contract compliance, grants management, input of data to databases, office correspondence, administrative records and maintaining data for damage assessment and restoration costs. The duty station for this position will be Santa Rosa, California. The NOAA Restoration Center has responsibility for restoring the Nation's coastal and marine fishery habitat, which are essential to the reproduction, growth, health, and diversity of fish, and is a principal partner in the recovery of costs and required habitat restoration resulting from damages as defined by the Oil Pollution Act (OPA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
