    Job Summary

    Seeking an applicant capable of reviewing, collecting, identifying, preparing and tracking notices, registrations and reports pertaining to the Lobbying Disclosure Act, the Honest Leadership and Open Government Act and the U.S. House of Representatives. Responsibilities include responding to a variety of calls and requests for information from Congressional Offices and the public; assisting with training personnel; providing technical and operational support for various computer systems related to processing public disclosure documents; and developing, coordinating and directing overall registration and compliance activities.

    Requirements:

    Must possess the temperament to communicate with a variety of personalities in a tactful, pleasant and professional manner. Applicant must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment, and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Applicant must also possess a working knowledge of the legislative process and appropriate lobbying and financial disclosure registration laws in addition to rules and regulations pertaining to the U.S. House of Representatives. Applicant must be competent in the operation of Windows and MAC operating systems. Previous experience with web-based applications is a plus. Must be detail-oriented and capable of adhering to deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
