GrinbergParticipant LinkedIn recently reported that it has exceeded the 300 million member mark (see Infographic below). According to the website TheUndercoverRecruiter.com: LinkedIn “hit the milestone of 300 million members in more than 200 countries and territories. The company has added more than 23 million members since the beginning of the year.” “More than half of the 300 million LinkedIn members now live outside of the U.S., enough to make LinkedIn the fourth largest country in the world.” Questions 1) Are you a member of LinkedIn? Why or why not? 2) If yes, what do you find most beneficial about LinkedIn? 3) How would you rate LinkedIn compared to other popular social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter? What makes LinkedIn stand out to you? 4) Do you think LinkedIn will continue to grow and eventually catch up with Facebook and Twitter regarding total number of members? Why or why not?
