    Job Description

    Cultural role players will play a variety of roles, all of which are intended to simulate realistic scenarios that US troops may face when deployed to respective cultural area overseas (i.e. Iraq, Afghanistan, etc). Roles include but are not limited to civilian, linguist, tribal leader, lawyer, farmer, entrepreneur, and insurgent. Exercises take place on ranges within US military bases. Role players are required to maintain their roles at ALL TIMES while exercise is in progress and follow prescribed scenario.

    Minimum Qualifications

    -Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
    -Oral fluency in one or more of the following languages is required:
    Arabic (Iraqi dialect & Modern Standard)
    Kurdish
    Pashto
    Dari
    Farsi
    Somali
    Balouchi
    -Experience in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and other Middle Eastern/North & East African countries preferred
    -Must be comfortable working and living in an austere military environment, working 12 hour days
    -Some roles may require security clearance
