    Navstar has several positions available for Advanced Technology Researcher around the country. The positions are FT and require a TS clearance. In short, these positions are for people who would like to play in an IT sandbox and see what works.     At least 8 years (additional preferred) progressive experience in: The design, development, and conduct of advanced technology evaluations, to determine if new applications and/or work processes enhance the capability of users within the IC. Solid background in operations research, statistics, or similar area to enable the creation of a strong metrics based approach to evaluations and experiments. Demonstrated ability to manage a workforce, whose members are geographically and temporally separated from each other. Strong understanding of at least one of the intelligence “ints”. Preference is for folks who understand all-source analysis. Preference is for an individual who has published peer-reviewed articles on this topic previously.

    The Intelligence Community is moving towards an integrated, services based environment. An understanding of such an environment is also necessary.

    Desired: Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Good customer relations capability.
