Irrespective of cost, what is the most useful network certification to obtain? There are a myriad of choices, Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCSE, etc. But, in this era of increased emphasis on network security, I would like to put my efforts into working on the certification that will open the most doors to the best opportunities.

I got the CISA which is more of an auditing certificate. I know CISSP is also a great one to have.

Not quite network security but security generally.

CISSP is definitely a favorite where I work (if you want to focus on security), and satisfies all 3 levels of both IAT and IAM categories if DoD 8570.1 compliance matters in your job.

Does seem like CISSP is the gold standard these days.
