    LAC seeks experienced Operations Manager/Facility Security Officer with
    active TS/SCI clearance on behalf of our client, a prestigious
    government defense contractor in Falls Church, VA. The position is 60%
    Operations and 40% Security. Exceptional opportunity to for a
    results-oriented professional. Competitive salary and benefits package.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Coordinates overall administrative activities for office services

    • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as setup
    and general cleanup after meetings, general repair coordination, etc.)
    • Resolves property management issues

    • Liaison with payroll company and employees for benefit support

    • Conducts new employee orientation and benefit enrollment

    • Assists with recruiting and job fairs

    • Manages relationships with local vendors

    • Maintenance of office equipment (copier, fax, printers, etc.)

    • Tracks inventory of supplies and makes purchases as needed

    • Participates as needed in special department projects

    • Processing personnel clearances

    • Maintains industrial security information and personnel security files

    • Reviews, approves and transmits visit requests

    • Ensures storage, safeguarding of information

    • Prepares and issues DD254s

    • Represents the security function to customers and government officials

    • Maintains door locks and facility keys, changes of safe and door combinations

    • Provides information, guidance and assistance to employees in
    completing clearance paperwork and review clearance paperwork and
    processes for submission to the government

    • Assists with arrangements for investigative interviews and record review

    • Coordinates employee fingerprinting when necessary

    • Follows up on status of clearances

    • Conducts initial and refresher security briefings

    Requirements:

    • TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Security Clearance

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    • Ability to operate with substantial latitude for independent judgment and action

    • Experience working in environments with a high degree of organizational effectiveness

    • Ability to work successfully in a team environment

    • Ability to develop relationships with co-workers and employees in administrative and security positions

    • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees

    • Ability to multi-task and problem solve

    • Able to handle sensitive materials and maintain the highest level of confidentiality

    • Strong communication skills; must have high level interpersonal
    skills and able to interact and communicate with individuals at all
    levels of the organization
    • Previous industrial security experience and knowledge of NISPOM, DOD Security Regulations and Executive Orders

    • Demonstrated proficiency in using Electronic Personnel Security
    Questionnaire (EPSQ) software and the following systems: Joint
    Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Joint Clearance and Access
    Verification System (JCAVS), and Electronic Questionnaire for
    Investigation Processing System (e-Qip)

    • Familiarity with electronic personnel security clearance
    administration, including the processing of background investigations
    and national security clearances through OPM, Defense Industrial
    Security Clearance Office (DISCO), and other agencies
