    The Congressional Research Service (CRS) Domestic Social Policy Division is seeking a Specialist in Health Care Financing to work on issues related to private health insurance and/or one or more of the three federal health programs – Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP.

    The specialist will provide objective, expert public policy analysis and consultation to congressional committees, Members, and staff, including preparing objective, non-partisan, and innovative analytical studies on public policy issues of national or international significance; providing personal assistance as a national expert on public policy issues throughout the legislative process, including analyzing, appraising, and evaluating legislative proposals; and planning and leading multi-disciplinary team research projects and seminars.

    For nearly a century, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) has provided confidential, authoritative and nonpartisan analyses to Congress to support its legislative deliberations and oversight activities. CRS is located on Capitol Hill, within the Library of Congress, allowing direct access to committees and Members of both the House and Senate. CRS staff work in a collegial, campus-like environment that fosters and encourages collaboration across issues and disciplines.
