I recently completed research on the U.S. governments use of new media for disaster relief in Haiti. But after having attended some of the sessions at the Gov2.0 Expo, I feel my research lacked because I’ve learned so much more from the panelists and by attending the booth crawl. It feels like every organization has done something to aid in the relief efforts under way in Haiti. This is an event that has effected us all and I feel this is only reflective of how technology connects every one of us.
It is truly inspiring to see that organizations have actively jumped on board and are making great strides to advance relief efforts. This can only help us be more prepared for what may come in the future.
What session was most inspiring to you?
