This morning my friend shared the following video with me, called “Sign Language” by Oscar Sharp. It is the winner of the Virgin Media Shorts contest, and is about a man named Ben who holds a sign for a living, and loves his job more than almost anything. This short narrative film captures his last day at work:

Sign Language – a short film from Oscar Sharp on Vimeo.

Throughout the video, it constantly amazed me how enthusiastic the character Ben was about his job. Personally, I would never want to spin a sign on the street to make money, but he made it seem like the most desirable job in the world!

To me there is no reason why we all shouldn’t, or can’t feel this way about our jobs.

How does your office boost the morale of it’s employees? What do you love about your job?

(PS Hope that if nothing else, this video puts a smile on your face!)
