Well, TN has seen it's share of weather over many years; a strong tornado here and there, and isolated flooding, but this weekend, Mother Nature reminded TN we are at her mercy.
This is where I live. It is downtown where my daughter works. If you have facebook, you will be able to see them. If not I will post other links. Please keep these business owners and home owners (sometimes the same people) in your prayers. In this economy something like this will be the breaking point for some people. Please send your prayers and thoughts to whomever you send those thoughts to. These people need all the love and help they can get. I live in Clarksville, but it seems like the whole state in underwater. Many of my co-workers could not go to work due ot flooding. Nashville is a mess.
BTW Steve Kelman, you and my daughter share the same birthday and this is when all this started.
Here is the facebook link to Clarksville TN.

There is just so much. Oh my goodness it is sad. And I am stuck here in VA and can't do anything to help. I just pray these people can recover. Clarksville still had scars from the Tornado which tore up all of downtown in 1999.
God bless these people.

SIGH>>> Curfew At 8 Pm. The waters are still rising. The Dam is about to break, so the county will have to flood the area more to actually save lives. It is a huge mess no one in this area has ever seen.... and I mean ever in modern time.

My heart totally goes out to all those people. I know 11 died in Mississippi (where I just moved from) in that same storm system. The south is just getting hammered right now with the Nashville problems and then the LA oil spill. I just hope assistance, for those who need it, gets put into place ASAP and that the gov't can some how head off both issues and keep economic damage at a minimum for those areas.
