    I am currently at the IDAG Social Media Conference, which has been addressing Social Media for Defense. So far the presentations have been awesome, but one point in particular caught my attention:

    When discussing Twitter, different presenters have had various opinions of how many times a day an agency should “ideally” tweet.

    On one hand, you want a constant flow of information in order to stay on top of the feed, so an automatic RSS from your website into Twitter would be best. On the other hand, some agencies choose to only tweet 4-6 times a day in order to have a more personal touch, and go with the “less is more” approach. They have tried to be more creative in generating traffic, like creating new hashtags to generate conversation, for example.

    In your experience with Twitter, which do you think is best? Is less really more?
