    Race Registration Proceeds to Benefit 12 Local Charities

    Vienna, VA — September 23, 2010 – Acumen

    in combined prizes will be awarded to race winners across different categories
    for its second annual Acumen Solutions
    Race for a Cause™ 8K and 1-Mile Fun Run on Sunday, October 17, 2010 in
    Arlington, VA. The 1 mile format has
    been added this year to give families and young runners a chance to
    participate. The race gives all registrants the unique
    opportunity to choose their charitable preference by picking from the following
    organizations listed below.

    Over the years, Acumen Solutions has developed many innovative ways to encourage

    $30 through Packet Pick up October 16

    $35 Race Day

    1-Mile Fun Run:

    $25 through Race Day

    The race will be on a fast out-and-back, flat course that begins and ends on North
    Quincy Street – near the intersection of Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA. The
    event is produced in partnership with Potomac River Running and runners of all
    levels, as well as walkers, are encouraged to participate.
