As a Contractor (a sub or an employee) for a Vendor engaged to support a contract for a Federal agency, what are the employment protection rights?
It is my experience, that many times contractors are terminated citing ambiguous reasons despite qualifying for the job both by professional experience / qualification and by meeting the federal background check.
On the flip side – many times contractors are engaged to deliver questionable compliance seeming plans and documents. Situation arises when the employee exercises “integrity”. After all it is the employee who owns the skills and the customer owns the requirement and vendor got the contract.
