I think it’s fairly safe to assume that we all use the internet every day, or most days (gosh, even saying that sounds pretty 1990). Regardless, what sites would you take with you to a desert island?

Why? Is it the content? News? Community? Collaboration? Inspiration?

Are they Media sites? Networking sites? Blogs? Etc…

I’m not talking about sites you stumble across randomly, but ones you seek out like you seek out a good friend, ones that if you don’t check for days, you in a way, miss.

    I’ll go first…

    I would take:
Social Media sites like GovLoop, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
Blogs like Lululemon’s blog, Foodblogs like OhSheGlows and KathEats,
    Inspiration like the99percent

    …what would you take?

Google Buzz: I connect with my peeps for messages longer than 140 characters
You Tube: I like to view the latest and old school videos i.e. tutorials, old school hip-hop, disco, electronica, interviews, catch up with my freinds and find new friends

Makes me think of another question: If you were introducing someone to the internet that had never been on it before, what site would you show them first?
