Science and sci-fi geeks come out of the government closet!
Anyone watching the new show on BBC America - Survivors? It's not a reality show but a drama about a mass extinction event. It's pretty interesting.
Thanks for starting this thread of discussion.
I LOVE the show! I am so intrigued by the various levels of stories...how individuals change--for better or worse--with this extreme change in society and by the various types of leaders that develop.
I would so love to be a writer on this show! So many options. Do you think the biotech firm released the virus on purpose? I think so.
When is it on?
Saturday nights at 9pm on BBC America.
Thanks, I'll take a look at it! I usually try to keep an eye on that timeslot, since that's where they put Dr. Who and Torchwood, whenever they have them. (Maybe I should start a new discussion on Dr. Who - we could all share our lack of information about the new Doctor!)
I'm really going to miss the old doctor. Don't like the looks of the new one.
Thanks, Pam. I'll check it out this week.
I love this show. Thanks to a friend I managed to track down s2, eps 6 so I got to see it all. I found it very intriguiing and fascinating. Kinda like a far more indepth 'life after people'.
it's amazing how much of our 'civilization' is based in and around the tech and toys we have instead of simply being us.
it's too bad it was cancelled. I'd love to have seen it continue
Anybody know when the show will pick up again? It's my favorite show on TV, bar none.
to the best of my knowledge the 12 episodes is all there'll ever be. I think the BBC canceled it
too expensive to keep making
Just finished out the episodes and I'm very sad to see it end. There's so much plot they could explore.
