Has anyone else seen the Service Announcement within their (employer) USAJobs account?
Apparently we will not have the ability to post positions on USAJobs after July if we do not have an Applicant Tracking System/Talent Acquisition System of our own in place.
Anybody see that?
Ya…major bummer…we just started using USA Staffing last month & hate it!
Saw it. Hate it. We have an alternate ATS in place but don’t use it for senior level positions so now we’re scrambling for another method to handle those.
Yes, Employer Services as it exists today in USAJOBS will be discontinued effective October 1, 2011. There are several options available that do not require buying and learning a new staffing system. 1) Establish an inter-agency agreement with a larger agency that will permit postings through their back-end system for a reasonable fee. 2) Enlist the staffing support services of OPM or the shared service centers; OPM offers an a-la-carte menu of staffing services allowing you to select what best meets your needs. 3) Migrate to one of the staffing tools provided by a vendor partner.
