I'm working on a proposal for a cross training initiative. Do any of you folks practice this? If so, can you share some of your best practices. Thanks for the help.
What type of cross training are you looking at?
The organization is broken into functional areas, such as Pay, Benefits, Employee Relations. I'd like to see members rotate through each staff on a periodic basis, no more than 30 days. The structure, timing and process is what I really want to get an idea of. i'm kindof stuck with the idea, with no where to start. I have a student that rotates assignments and is required to write an after action report, but I don't her program will fit the full time folks in the organization.
