Democrats and Republicans remain far apart in the appropriations process, so I am wondering what agencies are doing to prepare for yet another shutdown threat? Any guidance or words or wisdom to help HR weather the storm?
We’re dusting off our plans from April 2011.
I am dusting off the guidance pushed out earlier this year from the Air Force. I am also asking managers to identify emergency essential employees. Lastly, I am prepping letters for employees; I realize there will be minor verbiage tweaks but we will be ahead of the power curve.
