I am neither PMF nor ALum however I have informally mentored a few to encourage them to stick out the steep learning curve and encouraged them to seek out other mentors as well at U.S. DOE.

Who are the most famous and/or successful PMFs? Ressler asked the question awhile back, but I wanted to resurface it. We’re hoping to reach out to a few folks for interviews about their experiences.

It’s next Wednesday, May 2, 4-6pm, in the GWU Media and Public Affairs Building – Morton Auditorium…[Read more] -

Hadar,
First of all, congratulations on your selection. I was a 2008 PMF and I am also in Texas. I will tell you that, from my perspective, the opportunities seem to be quite a bit less outside of Washington. Nevertheless, the first thing you should do if you haven’t already is find out who the FDA PMF coordinator is and contact that person.…[Read more] -

Greetings fellow PMFers, working for OPMs Federal Management Leadership Institute, I get a number of questions about recommended training that helps fulfill the required 160 hours.
I’d like to point you to OPMs Leadership, Education and Development (LEAD) certificate program (https://www.leadership.opm.gov/certificates/LEAD/index.aspx). The…[Read more] -

Take this quick survey and Management Concepts will donate $1 to the Wounded Warriors Project for your response — and they’ll give you the report summary after it’s closed. How much easier does it get to donate to charities these days?
